Why i would like to go to Venice

I have never been to any trips before but if i could choose one place to visit it would definitely be Venice, and here are some reasons why: First of all, the main reason why people know about Venice is because in cartoons and tv is represented by it´s canals, and i would be lying if i said it isn´t appealing to me, i would just love to ride in those typical Gondolas around the city, it would be an experience i would love to try.

An moving into less, commonly known stuff, Venice has more to offer than just it's famous canals and gondolas, some of those things are St. Mark's Square, which is Venice's largest square and it's popular among tourists because it's surrounded by architecture, and it's know as a place where everyone gathers, similar to a big living room, people walk by, meet each other or just have a nice chat there, it's a very comfortable place to just relax and admire the surrounding buildings.

And to finish off, something that may not be very well known, is about the Carnival of Venice, it's real popular for it's costumes and masks that parade the streets and squares, what makes this carnival unique is the fact that mask making is an art in Venice, a tradition from hundreds of years ago, the streets fill with coloful and unique costumes, there are multiple activities and the carnival lasts some weeks but it truly is worth it, some days they give preference to turists and on the oficial webpage of the carnival you can get an schedule for what kind of activities are going to be held and in which day and in which part of the city!

Venice truly is a place filled with culture and amazing activities, there's still so much stuff to do, and it's a very scenenic place i wish i could one day visit.
